Earlier this month, our member organization Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT), rescued and subsequently released a pregnant slow loris.
An update from Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand
Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) recently achieved a historic milestone when they undertook the largest rescue in the organisation’s history.
Over the spring, WFFT conducted four separate operations, rescuing a total of 11 tigers and two bears from Phuket Zoo. Many of them have endured decades of emotional and physical abuse to have them perform and pose for tourist photos. While these tigers can never return to the wild, they now have a second chance at happiness in a safe environment.
