Free the Bears is an international animal welfare and wildlife conservation charity working with a mission to protect, preserve and enrich the lives of bears worldwide. We achieve this by working with governments and non-governmental partners to strengthen and enforce national wildlife protection laws and rescue bears from exploitative situations, improve environmental awareness amongst key stakeholders and promote sustainable livelihoods for communities that previously relied on the exploitation of bears and other wildlife.
