Wildlife At Risk (WAR) is a non-profit organisation based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, established in 2003. Active throughout the southern provinces of Vietnam, WAR focuses on combating the illegal wildlife trade through technical support, including rescue and release efforts.
Dedicated to the long-term conservation of Vietnam’s biodiversity, WAR aims to protect endangered species and their habitats. The country’s wildlife faces severe challenges, with many species at risk of extinction due to habitat loss, hunting, pollution, and the illegal wildlife trade. To address these issues, WAR is now also involved in breeding programs for conservation.
