Day 1 of the WARN 2024 conference
The WARN 2024 conference has officially started!
This year’s conference is hosted by Free the Bears and held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR. The theme is “Successful partnerships leading to positive outcomes for wildlife”.
The conference was opened by the WARN Asia board members. Throughout the day we heard several presentations about successful collaborations and the importance of partnerships in wildlife rescue and conservation. We also got an introduction to photographing rescued wildlife, and rounded off the day with an interactive workshop about the Wild for Welfare e-learning program.
After a productive first day, we had a sunset dinner by the Mekong River.
